Training session in Kyiv: Shakhtar continue preparations for the season

The Orange-and-Blacks work with a focus on the opening match of the UPL against Metalist 1925
On Tuesday, July 25, Shakhtar players conducted their first training session in the capital of Ukraine after returning from the training camp in the Netherlands. Head coach of the Miners Patrick van Leeuwen gathered the team at the base of Sviatoshyn training complex during lunch and offered his players almost an hour and a half training session.
The session began with a workout in the gym, after which the team did a warm-up on the field, squares and performed the exercises for short and middle passing. The main part of the training session took place in the format of a mini-tournament with 4 teams of 7 players each. At the end, they performed running series.

As a reminder, Shakhtar will play the first match of the new season on July 29. In the 1st round of UPL, the Miners will meet with Metalist 1925. The game will take place at Livyi Bereh stadium near Kyiv and will kick off at 17:00.
