Shakhtar defeat Vorskla in the final round of the Ukrainian Youth League thanks to Demchenko's goal

Oskar Ratulutra fielded all the main players for the match against Vorskla U19, except for suspended Bako and Hlushchenko, who were replaced by Oharkov and Tryphonenko, and Bezkleinyi made his debut in the second half.

Complete advantage

The match started at a great pace, and Shakhtar U19 already had the first opportunity in the beginning when Smetana made a dangerous shot from the penalty area. Then the advantage of the Miners resulted in several more opportunities: first, Yanovych shot above the target, turning the cross home at the far post, and then Bashmarin scored after a corner, but the referee did not count the goal. The host team could have scored once, but Tvardovskyi saved Bulhatov's shot from advantageous position. At the end of the half, Oskar Ratulutra's team succeeded: Oharkov's activity on the wing helped, because first Mykola himself hit the crossbar from a tight angle, and later, after the wing raid, he assisted Demchenko, who opened the scoring in the match. An air raid alert was given 5 minutes before the break, and after the teams returned to the field, there were no more opportunities.

Final victory

In the second half, the Orange-and-Blacks played actively and created several opportunities, but Oharkov failed to implement a one-on-one in the best moment. Vorskla responded with Tuzenko's bypass kick – Tvardovskyi confidently played on the line. Towards the middle of the half, the game moved to the centre of the field. The Miners could have widened their lead before the final whistle, but neither Smetana nor Bezkleinyi were lucky with the finishing, while Tvardovskyi saved Ovsiannikov's shot.

Shakhtar youth team complete the championship with an away victory and finish third (69 points, 21 wins).
