Shakhtar women's team lost to Kryvbas in the away match
Veherych (centre of defence) replaced disqualified Krevska in the starting line-up, and Mokhnach played in the holding area.
Battle, but not goals
The match began with battle and exchange of moments. Initially, Mokhnach's one-on-one was interrupted by Kelyushyk, the host team responded with Olkhova's shot after a corner – above the target. Then Kryvbas had an opportunity when Basanska shot from the penalty area, but Klimova played reliably. The pressure of Kryvbas resulted in a free kick: Semkiv performed a cross, to which Basanska responded, but the goal was disallowed due to offside. The first half of the match ended in a goalless draw.
Decisive goals
Roman Zaiev's team started the second half with a rapid attack: Molodiuk went down the flank and made a pass to Vykaliuk, but Maria missed and did not take Shakhtar's best opportunity in the match. Kryvbas responded with a goal: Semkiv, during the panic in the penalty area, made the decisive shot first. In 2 minutes, Khrystyna Kozub was penalised for a foul by the referee, but Anastasiia Klimova saved Polina Yanchuk's shot from 11 meters. However, already in the next attack, the host team scored again: Klimova once again saved on the line after a shot by Basanska, but the ball ricocheted exactly to Tian, who scored into the already empty net. And in another 10 minutes, Tian netted a brace, turning a cross from same Basanska right home. In the 72nd minute of the game, Basanska herself scored with an accurate shot. And at the end of the match, Kochneva set the final score with a long-range shot. Shakhtar lost, but remain in the 3rd spot.
