Shakhtar U19 head coach Oskar Ratulutra commented on the winning match against Inhulets U19 and Toirov's debut goal
– It was a confident win, but we should have scored the first goal earlier. We had good opportunities for a goal, however the ball just bounced around the box and there was no one to push it into the net. In general, the boys played confidently and used their advantage correctly.
– Are you satisfied not only with the score, but also with the quality of play?
– Yes, today there were many interesting moments in our play and I’m glad about this. Credit goes to the boys because they train every day to implement everything on the field. We should aim at making all actions more conscious.
– Halonskyi made his debut, young Smetana and Lomaha took the field at 2-0...
– The boys are progressing step by step and already understand that they have to play at this level next season. They should feel the difference between children's football and youth football. Here, football is closer to adult level and the rivals’ opposition is higher, so you have to adapt as quickly as possible, understand the requirements in order to prove yourself.
– Khusrav Toirov scored his debut goal. What can you say regarding the midfielder’s play?
– Khusrav scored his debut goal at this level and we are very pleased, I guess, as the player himself. He joined us for experience, it is important for him to feel the aspects of Ukrainian football I believe that matches for the youth team should help him with adaptation at the initial stage, and then everything will depend only on him.
– What goals do you have in the final four matches, as there are not many chances to win the title?
– The goal is only to win, although it is not always possible, but we are working on it. The boys prove that they are moving in the right direction by their attitude to the training process, their approach to the games.
