The House of Football in Kyiv hosted an award ceremony of the 2022/23 UPL winners on May 30. Gold medals were given to: FC Shakhtar president Rinat Akhmetov, the club’s CEO Serhii Palkin, Sports Director Darijo Srna, Sport Management Department Director Vitalii Khlivniuk, head coach Igor Jovicevic and his assistants Yurii Beno, Daniel De Castro, Francisco Galan, Andrii Khanas, Mykola Shamardin, Radion Paltsun, Javier Lobo, and Carlo Nicolini.

34 Shakhtar players received the UPL winning awards:

Goalkeepers: Oleksii Shevchenko, Tymur Puzankov, Andrii Piatov, Dmytro Riznyk, Anatolii Trubin

Defenders: Valerii Bondar, Giorgi Gocholeishvili, Bohdan Mykhailichenko, Mykola Matviienko, Lucas Taylor, Yukhym Konoplia, Marian Faryna, Eduard Kozik, Yaroslav Rakitskyi, Viktor Korniienko, Serhii Kryvtsov

The champions were awarded by the UPL Director Yevhen Dykyi, the UAF president Andrii Pavelko and the UAF first vice-president Oleh Protasov.

Shakhtar players and coaches received the UPL trophy of the 2022/23 season at the end of the ceremony.
