Shakhtar women’s team flattened Ateks, with Holovach, Molodiuk and Semeniuk scoring braces

Roman Zaiev used rotation, leaving Zaborovets, Vykaliuk and Veherych on the bench.

Active start

Shakhtar confidently began the match, scoring twice before the 5th minute. At first, Chendei responded to Holovach’s wing pass – 1-0, and then Holovach herself finished Mokhnach’s cross – 2-0. After that, Roman Zaiev's team had a few more chances: Semeniuk hit the crossbar, opportunities of Mokhnach and Chendei, but none of them were converted. The third goal was in the 26th minute, when Molodiuk scored in one-on-one situation with the keeper. Opponents produced an obvious defensive play and bothered Mostova only after deliveries from set pieces, however Shakhtar scored for the fourth time before the break: Semeniuk reacted on bouncing from the defender and fired it right home from the goalmouth.

Three braces

Shakhtar continued focusing on the rival goal in the second half. Molodiuk could score immediately, but she lacked accuracy. And Semeniuk secured a brace: Holovach pushed the ball from the flank past the goalkeeper and Yuliia hit the unprotected goal. After a while, Semeniuk didn’t manage to beat the goalkeeper within close range from an advantageous position. Molodiuk scored a brace in the 72nd minute, sending the ball right into the corner. Vykaliuk, who came off the bench, had a few opportunities, but shot right in the centre of the goal twice. Holovach made the final score: Viktoriia skilfully outplayed the goalkeeper through two touches after passing to the near post, making it 7-0. Shakhtar women’s team won, increasing a winning run to 5 games.

Shakhtar will play the next postponed round 12 match vs Vorskla in Poltava on May 10.
