Shakhtar Social and Lemtrans continued cooperation in terms of the Come On, Let's Play! project in Brody
More than 140 children who regularly play football took part in the Come On, Let's Play! tournament in Brody recently.
The pitches operated in Volnovakha (Donetsk Oblast) and Popasna (Luhansk Oblast) in partnership with Lemtrans before the start of the full-scale invasion. After the occupation of these two settlements by Russian troops, Shakhtar Social and Lemtrans decided to continue financing the project in another location due to its importance for children and resumed operations in Brody (Lviv Oblast).
Inna Khmyzova, Shakhtar Social Director:
– Starting and continuing football projects during the war is a special joy! I am very grateful to the partners who support regular football training in Brody for the second year in a row.
One of the main reasons for maintaining the activity of the project is the desire to support displaced children who were evacuated to the west of Ukraine.
Volodymyr Mezentsev, Lemtrans CEO:
– Accepting social obligations, we spread important values and involve as many children as possible in sports, providing equal opportunities for everyone. We believe that despite all the challenges, our cooperation will help children to socialize, spend time actively and be mentally healthy. This is a contribution to the well-being of children!
