Shakhtar midfielder Oleksandr Zubkov answered the journalists' questions before the match against Barcelona
– Oleksandr, the team got a new coach before the first match against Barcelona. How much better are Shakhtar's chances of winning now compared to the game in Spain?
– We understand who we will play against, but we are not going to give away three points just like that. So, I hope we will show our teeth tomorrow.
– The new coach arrived recently and has already managed to participate in three matches: the game against Barcelona, the Cup quarter-finals and the match against Dynamo. How do you players help Marino adapt?
– Of course, everything happened very quickly, and we got to know each other already in the process. There were two matches, several training sessions, so for now we are getting used to the new requirements, we want to play with the ball more, we are improving together.
– Taking into account the suspension of Yukhym Konoplia, how are you adjusting to the interaction with Giorgi Gocholeishvili?
– They have the same functions, so I have no problem, to be honest.
– In such big matches as the one against Barcelona, do you want to stick to Shakhtar's trademark style of play more, or does the result weigh on you?
– I think the second half in Spain showed that we can compete even with Barcelona. So I hope that tomorrow we will play like this from the first minutes.
– The second game at Volksparkstadion in Hamburg is tomorrow. How do you like the atmosphere in this arena?
– It is very nice! I hope our fans will come to the stadium tomorrow and support us together with German fans.
