Ukrainian goalkeeper will play for the Miners this season
31-year-old goalkeeper Artur Rudko joined Shakhtar as a free agent. The club's contract with the player lasts until the end of the 2023/24 season.
Rudko is a student of Dynamo Kyiv Academy. He made his debut in the UPL in the summer of 2015 with Hoverla, for which he played on loan and participated in a total of 16 matches. From 2016 to 2019, he played for Dynamo (26 matches), then he moved to Cypriot Pafos, for which he played 92 matches over 3 seasons. In the summer of 2022, he signed a contract with Metalist, but spent the 2022/23 season on loan at Polish Lech (6 matches).
