Summing up the results of a traditional poll on social media pages of the Miners
Midfielder Dmytro Kryskiv became Shakhtar Player of the Month for August following the results of an opinion poll conducted on the club’s official social media pages. 3,115 fans (39.7% of participants) voted for the 22-year-old halfback. Mykola Matviienko (3,091 votes) amassed a little less than the winner, Oleksii Kashchuk (884) got into the rating for the first time, with Danylo Sikan (749) closing the top four. All in all, 7,839 respondents participated in the voting.
In August, Dmytro Kryskiv appeared in the starting line-up of the Miners in all 4 matches of the Ukrainian League, becoming the best in the UPL according to the goal + pass system. The midfielder scored a double in the match against Kryvbas (3-3) and provided 2 assists in the clash with Kolos (2-0).
We remind that the winners of the monthly votes become contenders for the Player of the Year title.
