Results of monthly voting on the club’s social media
Midfielder Heorhii Sudakov is Shakhtar Player of the Month for March following the results of an opinion poll conducted on the club’s official social media pages. 8,956 fans (72.5% of participants) voted for the winner. The second spot was taken by newcomer of the Miners Kevin (1,765), with forward Danylo Sikan (910) and midfielder Dmytro Kryskiv (715) being next in the rating. All in all, 12,364 respondents participated in the voting.
In March, Sudakov made 4 appearances for the team in the UPL (a total of 329 minutes), scored 1 goal in the match against Minaj (2-0) and provided 1 assist in the game against Kolos (3-2). In addition, the 21-year-old midfielder helped the Ukraine national team in the decisive Euro 2024 qualifiers: his 2 assists allowed the Blue-and-Yellows to beat Iceland (2-1) in the qualification finals and win a berth to the European Championship.
