FC Shakhtar, together with the Shakhtar Social foundation, joined the initiative of the club's technical partner PUMA to organize a camp for children who have lost their parents
PUMA initiated the organization of the Forever.Faster Kids Camp for 130 Ukrainian children who lost one or both parents as a result of Russia's armed aggression against Ukraine. The camp in Tatariv (Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast) lasted from August 12 to 21. FC Shakhtar and the Shakhtar Social foundation joined this initiative, allocating UAH 500,000 to the event.
Representatives of the Shakhtar Social foundation visited the camp to support the children, organize various sports and entertainment events for them, as well as present some gifts. A real surprise for the participants was an online meeting with Shakhtar players Valerii Bondar and Viktor Tsukanov. Children asked questions, and the footballers gladly answered them. In particular, the children learned how professional players prepare for the championship, who motivated them to play football, and also tested the Miners on their knowledge of the history of Shakhtar.
Supporting children who have lost their parents due to armed aggression is extremely important and fundamental.
