Children from Donetsk Oblast attended a sports camp in Prague

Boys and girls from Donetsk Oblast who are training on the pitches of the Come On, Let's Play! project with the support of the Shakhtar Social foundation and the general partner DTEK spent 10 days at a sports camp at the invitation of Sparta Prague.

The organizers prepared a busy programme for the children, which included football training sessions under the guidance of Sparta coaches, getting acquainted with the U19 team, meeting with former player and legend of the Miners Tomas Hubschman, a tour of the stadium, and walks in the historical and significant places of the Czech capital. During the visit, Ukrainian children also led footballers onto the field for the Champions League qualification match, where Sparta defeated Shamrock Rovers.

The joint initiative in the social sphere of Sparta and the Shakhtar Social foundation is being implemented for the second year in a row. Supporting children who are unable to train and play football adequately due to the war is both important and necessary
