Shakhtar midfielder Artem Bondarenko spoke with young footballers participating in the Come On, Let’s Play! project ahead of the New Year holidays

Artem Bondarenko held an online meeting with children training in Ivano-Frankivsk at the pitch of the Come On, Let's Play! project.

The player enthusiastically answered the children’s questions: he told how he started his football journey, recalled his first competitive match for Shakhtar and how nervous he was before it, and revealed what profession he would have chosen if he hadn’t become a footballer.

At the end of the meeting, Artem thanked the children for their support of the team, wished them success in their studies and training, as well as happy holidays.
This is an emotional event, and perhaps in my childhood I would have dreamed of such an opportunity to communicate and ask my questions
Artem Bondarenko, FC Shakhtar player:

– The meeting was very positive, I really enjoyed communicating with the children, and the questions were interesting. This is an emotional event, and perhaps in my childhood I would have dreamed of such an opportunity to communicate and ask my questions. I want to wish the children a peaceful sky and perseverance on the way to their goal.

The Come On, Let's Play! location in Ivano-Frankivsk has been working in partnership with the YASNO brand since 2023.

In general, the Come On, Let’s Play! project covers 25 Ukrainian localities, with 25 pitches in operation. More than 1,400 children from 7 to 12 years old participate in the training sessions.
