Shakhtar defender Irakli Azarov held an online meeting with children from the Donetsk and Vinnytsia regions who are participating in the Come On, Let's Play! project
Due to active hostilities in Donetsk Oblast, Shakhtar Social and DTEK, the general partner of the Come On, Let's Play! project, have suspended training sessions there. To support the children, an online meeting with Shakhtar player Irakli Azarov was arranged for them. 25 young football players from Donetsk Oblast, as well as from Ladyzhyn in Vinnytsia Oblast, joined the conversation.
The children asked questions about the daily routine of a professional footballer, favourite cities and stadiums, memorable matches and preferences, and the Georgian defender, in turn, thanked the children for their support and wished them peace and happy holidays.

It was very nice to talk to the children. I got positive emotions from their interest in football and how professional players live
Irakli Azarov, Shakhtar defender:
– It was very nice to talk to the children. I got positive emotions from their interest in football and how professional players live. I’m glad to share my experience with them because, when I was younger and had the opportunity to communicate with players, it sparked incredible emotions in me, I was able to learn a lot. I want to wish the children success in the future.
The Come On, Let's Play! project operates in 25 Ukrainian cities. It includes 25 playgrounds, where over 1,400 children aged 7 to 12 train.
The general partner is DTEK.
