Olympic champion in artistic gymnastics Oleh Verniaiev visited a training session for children taking part in the Come On, Let's Play! project
Olympic champion in artistic gymnastics and Shakhtar Social ambassador Oleh Verniaiev visited a Come On, Let's Play! project training session in Kyiv, where regular football drills for children with disabilities take place at the Academy A+.
Oleh greeted the children and joined the session. He actively assisted the participants in performing various exercises and tasks designed to develop coordination and motor skills. At the end of the meeting, Oleh thanked the children and coaches for the wonderful session, presented them with branded gifts and took memorable photos.
Oleh Verniaiev, Olympic champion in artistic gymnastics:
– I visited the children during the training session, and it was really interesting because I had never attended a football practice before. It is especially exciting to watch how the children progress and train. This is a very valuable experience because we have recently started working with children with disabilities in gymnastics as well. Supporting children through sports is extremely important, as sports are, above all, a discipline that benefits not only health but also life in general.
The Come On, Let's Play! project operates in 25 Ukrainian cities. It includes 25 playgrounds, where over 1,400 children aged 7 to 12 train.
The general partner is DTEK.
