Shakhtar ProSchool opened in Shchaslyve
Shakhtar ProSchool is a franchise project of FC Shakhtar that continues to develop actively. The club is not only opening new schools for children in Europe but is also expanding its presence in Ukraine. On Monday, December 23, an official school for boys and girls aged 3 to 13 was opened in Shchaslyve, where the Shakhtar Academy is based.
Ruslan Kataranchuk, Head of FC Shakhtar Franchising Service:
– The geography of Shakhtar ProSchool continues to expand, and opening a school in Shchaslyve is a logical step because this is where the FC Shakhtar Academy is based. Due to its location, the school will be under the supervision of the Academy, which will motivate children to constantly improve their skills. There are no similar schools in Ukraine and it is extremely important to develop children from an early age according to the right philosophy, methodology and structure. Children train under the guidance of qualified coaches and receive priority to participate in the Shakhtar Academy trials.
Shakhtar ProSchool sessions are held according to the methodology and under the guidance of specialists from the Shakhtar Academy. Students will have priority right to participate in the Academy trials and will be able to join the club's regular professional football events, such as accompanying Shakhtar players to the pitch or participating in matches as ball boys.

– A lot of resources and effort have been invested and we hope that in the future we will see the results in the form of new football stars and national team players. For children, especially in war conditions, it is important to be able to distance themselves from all the terrible events, and Shakhtar ProSchool helps with this. Here, children develop, make new friends, and grow. The location in Shchaslyve, where the FC Shakhtar Academy is based, provides additional motivation because children see how the Academy players train every day.
The first lesson is free. All interested boys and girls can sign up for sessions regardless of their previous training.
