The Miners are preparing for the start of the UEFA Europa League play-offs
Shakhtar players have started intense preparation for the Europa League knockout stage first leg against French Marseille, which will take place on Thursday in Hamburg.
On February 10, after the day off, Marino Pusic’s team went back to work and conducted a training session in Belek. Starting in the gym, the Orange-and-Blacks then moved to the field where they performed possession exercises with 6 small goals and played a small-sided game across a half of the pitch in the 10 on 10 format with neutral players.
The highlights of the training session can be found in the photo gallery. In the afternoon, the team will have a theory session.
As a reminder, the UEFA Europa League knockout stage match between Shakhtar and Marseille will take place on February 15 in Hamburg at the Volksparkstadion. The game kicks off at 18:45 local time (19:45 Kyiv time). Tickets are on general sale.
