The Orange-and-Blacks are preparing for the Europa League knockout stage first leg
On February 14, ahead of the game against Marseille, Shakhtar players conducted a training session on the field of the Volksparkstadion in Hamburg, where Donetsk team host their opponents in this European season.
According to the UEFA regulations, the first 15 minutes of the session were available for the media representatives: the journalists had the opportunity to watch the team performing a warm-up and some exercises.
The session lasted for about an hour in total. Already behind closed doors, Marino Pusic’s team worked on possession, short and medium passes and attacking actions, and also played a small-sided game across one half of the field.
As a reminder, the UEFA Europa League knockout stage first leg Shakhtar vs Marseille will take place on February 15 in Hamburg at the Volksparkstadion. The game kicks off at 18:45 local time (19:45 Kyiv time). Tickets are on general sale.
