One of the leaders of the Miners will stay in the team for another 5 years
Shakhtar and midfielder Heorhii Sudakov signed a new contract until December 31, 2028.
Heorhii Sudakov is a graduate of the Shakhtar Academy, which he entered in 2017, and he made his debut for the first team in October 2020. To date, the 21-year-old midfielder made 85 apps for the Orange-and-Blacks (13 goals and 13 assists). He became the champion of Ukraine (2023) and the Ukrainian Super Cup winner (2021) together with the Miners. The fans recognized Heorhii Sudakov as Shakhtar Player of the Year 2023.
