The first training session of Shakhtar football team for amputee soldiers took place in Shchaslyve

On Wednesday, February 21, Shakhtar football team for amputee soldiers held their first training session at the Academy facility in Shchaslyve under the guidance of head coach Bohdan Bilko.

The session was introductory and started with exercises aimed primarily at players’ adaptation to the pitch and to the use of crutches. Then the players switched to squares and shots on goal, and at the end of the session they worked on the passing accuracy with a neutral player.

It is important to note that the team is currently recruiting the players. For information, please call +38 050 217 47 96. The players will train regularly twice a week at the base of the FC Shakhtar Academy in Shchaslyve.
