The Miners approach the final test matches of the winter pre-season period
Shakhtar footballers continue to rediscover their form at the training camp in Turkey. On February 7, the Orange-and-Blacks held a session aimed to prepare the team for tomorrow’s friendlies. After standard warm-up, Marino Pusic’s men performed a series of 3v3 and 2v2 game exercises The main part of the drills was devoted to a small-sided game within a limited part of the pitch with an emphasis on set play.

Tomorrow, February 8, the Miners will play two test games: against Turkmenian Arkadag (kickoff is at 12:00 Kyiv time) and Polish Lechia (16:30). All friendlies will be streamed live on Shakhtar’s YouTube channel and FC Shakhtar app (App Store and Google Play).
We remind that Shakhtar will play the first competitive match after the winter break against Marseille in the UEFA Europa League. The encounter will take place on February 15 in Hamburg at the Volksparkstadion. Tickets are on general sale.
