The Dutch specialist joined the staff of Marino Pusic
60-year-old Raimond van der Gouw has been appointed as Shakhtar goalkeeping coach. He will work in this position together with the legend of the Miners Andrii Piatov.
Van der Gouw is the first coach in the history of the club to win the UEFA Champions League.

Raimond van der Gouw was born on March 24, 1963 in Oldenzaal (Netherlands).
He played for Go Ahead Eagles (1985–1988), Vitesse (1988–1995), Manchester United (1996–2002), West Ham (2002–2003), Waalwijk (2003–2004), Apeldoorn (2004–2007). He is the English Premier League (2000, 2001) and the Champions League (1999) winner.
He started his coaching career in 2004 as a playing goalkeeping coach at Apeldoorn, and then worked at English Sunderland (2007–2009), Dutch Vitesse (2009–2020, 2023) and PSV (2020–2022).
Van der Gouw is the first coach in the history of the club to win the UEFA Champions League.
