Shakhtar midfielder Yehor Nazaryna shared his impressions of the first days of the training camp in Belek

– Yehor, how are the team's training sessions going, what is the work focused on and what schedule do you have?
– It is already the fifth day of the camp, we are working, preparing for the second part of the season. We trained intensively in the morning – football exercises, work with the ball. We like it because that's how it should be at the camp. Therefore, we are preparing for the second part of the league positively.

– In addition to working a lot with the ball, the team also devote a lot of time to fitness.
– I believe, the training camp is impossible without work in the gym because it is the foundation that is laid during the pre-season period. Therefore, of course, we work a lot in the gym, training the whole body, legs, arms and everything else.

– It is the first camp under the leadership of Marino Pusic. What is the specificity?
– I like that all exercises are aimed at how we want to play football. It is very interesting. We always work with the ball. We have intensive training sessions, but always with the ball. It is, first of all, very interesting for footballers, although it is not easy, but, I repeat, we like it, so we work with positivity.

– How heavy are the loads for you personally? What would you say about your fitness now?
– I don’t have optimal physical form yet, of course, because it is only the fifth day of the training camp. I think we will all be able to gain it closer to the end. And I feel great, I like the training process, everything is fine!

– What is the most difficult thing for you at the training camp?
– Have two training sessions a day, wake up in the morning. When it's one or two days, it's okay, but when it's been a week, it gets a little boring. It is the most difficult.

– How do you distract yourself? What do you do in your free time and how do you recover as the workload is serious?
– There is not much free time, the schedule is very busy because we train twice a day. When there is only one session, then, of course, we pay attention to recovery, having everything for this: saunas, swimming pools, massage therapists also work with us. Everything is at the highest level.
