Shakhtar launches a programme to help football schools of Ukraine

The club will deliver football equipment to the groups across the country
FC Shakhtar launches a long-term programme to support children’s football in Ukraine. The first project provides for giving of UAH 1 million in aid to football schools and football groups in Ukrainian schools so that they could continue their activities.
Inna Khmyzova, Shakhtar Social Director:
“You cannot put life on pause, even during the war. Especially children's lives. And sports and regular exercises are a part of normal childhood in times of peace, which is important to preserve even now. Therefore, we decided to help amateur football teams that need it. Thanks to this, children will be able to continue to do what they love – play football.”
FC Shakhtar aims to give football equipment to institutions throughout Ukraine, primarily in the de-occupied areas and territories which were most affected as a result of the full-scale war.
Applications will be accepted during a month – from January 23 to February 22, 2024. Conditions of receipt and application are available at help.shakhtar.com.
