Shakhtar Social and the UEFA Foundation for Children implement the Score Without Barriers football training project for children with disabilities
The Shakhtar Social foundation, with the support of the UEFA Foundation, implements the Score Without Barriers project with football training session for boys and girls with disabilities in 6 cities of Ukraine: Brovary (Kyiv Oblast), Vinnytsia, Poltava, Zhytomyr, Rivne, Smila (Cherkasy Oblast). The goal of the project is to create opportunities for regular sports activities for children with disabilities, promote their social inclusion, and strengthen physical and psychological health.
Shakhtar Steel player Valentyn Romaniuk attended one of the training sessions in Vinnytsia. He helped the children with physical exercises and played football with them. The training participants were very happy to meet with the hero and thanked Valentyn for protecting the country.
In total, 180 children play football thanks to the support of the UEFA Foundation for Children.
