Shakhtar women’s team signed experienced midfielder Nadiia Chaika
Nadiia was born in Lviv, where she began playing football in local sports groups. She started her professional career in 2011 at Naftokhimik, where she became a silver and bronze winner of the Ukrainian League and won the Ukrainian Cup in 2 years. In 2013, she became the champion of the Ukrainian First League with Medyk. Later, the footballer played for Yatran Berestivets, Yantarochka, Ladomyr, Karpaty, Dynamo and Polish SWD and Gdansk.

– It is nice to be in such a club as Shakhtar. The training sessions are great, I really like them. I have known head coach Roman Mykolaiovych Zaiev for a long time and wanted to work under his guidance, I also know most of the girls, so the adaptation is going well. Shakhtar is a young team, and, of course, we want to demonstrate quality, fast football and rank highest in the table.
