25th day of the training camp of the Orange-and-Blacks in Brdo, Slovenia
Shakhtar footballers, after winning the test match against Besiktas (1-0) the day before, continued their work on the preparation for the new season. On Thursday, July 18, the team held another training session.
They started, as usual, from the gym, and then had a 90-minute drill on the football field. Today, Marino Pusic and his staff offered the lads the following programme: warm-up, game exercises, squares for ball control, work in two groups on the development of combinational actions and finishing of attacks, as well as improvement certain play elements. A small-sided game was played at the end.

We remind that the Miners will have another practice game this Saturday, July 20. Shakhtar will meet with English Ipswich at 15:00 Kyiv time. Friendlies of the Orange-and-Blacks at the training camp are streamed on Shakhtar’s YouTube channel and FC Shakhtar mobile app (App Store and Google Play) in the Live section.
