The youth team completed the programme of the friendly games of the summer pre-season

On July 27, Shakhtar U19 completed the programme of the training camp in Shchaslyve with the friendly game against Obolon U19. Recently, the Miners also played test matches against Dinaz and Denhoff.

The team coached by Oleksii Bielik will have two days of rest, and then will begin focused preparation for the first game of the Youth League season.

The Miners began playing actively and quickly took the lead thanks to their efforts of Zubrii, who reacted to Reshetnikov’s pass and shot past the goalkeeper. The Pitmen had a territorial advantage and combined near the opponent’s penalty area, but they did not manage to double the advantage. Instead, the opponent equalised the score at the end of the half after a well-placed shot by Zorenko from the eleven-metre mark. The second half passed with the advantage of the Donetsk team, but it did not lead to effective actions.
