The Miners will represent the country in the main international sports competitions
Ukraine U23 will participate in the 2024 Olympic Games football tournament, which will be held in France from July 24 to August 9, for the first time in history. Five Shakhtar players were called up to the team’s camp by head coach Ruslan Rotan to prepare for the Olympics: goalkeeper Kiril Fesiun, midfielders Dmytro Kryskiv, Kyrylo Siheiev, Oleh Ocheretko, forward Danylo Sikan.
The training camp of the Blue-and-Yellows will start on July 8 in the city of Saint-Paul-les-Dax, France.

According to the tournament regulations, the top 2 teams from each of 4 groups will advance to the play-offs to the quarter-final stage.
