– Danylo, congratulations on your and your team’s win! Tell us, what was the match like?
– The team played a good match with complete dominance. All players gave their best and played aggressively.
– In the first half, you had certain health problems and the doctors said that you could leave the field, but you showed mettle and scored a goal. Tell us about this episode.
– I did not fully understand what the doctors told me. There was a small bump that bled, and because of that they advised to replace me, but I felt fine and decided to continue the game. I always try to create scoring opportunities and help the team through my actions. I am glad that I managed to score.
– It is important for you to score being a forward. Let's recall the moment that became the key to the goal?
– We aggressively pressed the opponents which resulted in their mistake. Kevin provided the pass and I shot into the corner of the net not with my preferred foot. My goal is the result of the efforts of the whole team.
– In the 73rd minute, you left the field, the head coach warmly congratulated you. Do you feel the support of Mister?
– I constantly feel the support of the coach and teammates because this is what forms the basis of the team. It is important to always support each other, only in this way we can achieve the desired result.
– What positive moments can you highlight in the game against Minaj?
– Positive moments are present in every match and now they were that we dominated the entire game. The team understand that it is in such matches that the championship is won. We always prepare for each match as focused as possible, regardless in what spot are our opponents.
– Does Shakhtar's top position in the table add tranquillity and confidence? Can we say that the fight for the title is in full play?
– Yes, it adds confidence because we do not depend on the results of other teams and do not hope for someone's loss of points. We rely only on ourselves, and if we make a mistake, it is only ours. The fight for the title continues, we must not stop, but, on the contrary, we must step it up every game.
– You are joining Ukraine’s training camp. What are the goals and expectations for the Euro 2024 qualifying play-offs?
– The goal is to win! I’m joining the national team in a positive mood. I understand that Ukraine are playing well, all the players are in excellent form. I hope we will be focused and achieve a good result.
