The first project provides for giving of UAH 1 million in aid to football schools and football groups in Ukraine
In January, FC Shakhtar launched a long-term programme to support children’s football in Ukraine. The first project provides for giving of UAH 1 million in aid to football schools and football groups in Ukrainian schools so that they could continue their activities and so that the children are able to do what they love most – play football.
Applications to receive equipment were accepted during the month. In total, more than 100 applications were received from institutions throughout Ukraine, among which 20 institutions were selected to receive sports equipment for playing football. Preference was given to groups and schools located in de-occupied and front-line areas, in small settlements, as well as to groups and schools where training is free.
