Shakhtar midfielder Dmytro Kryskiv reflects on the key moments of the winning game against Kryvbas (5-2)

– The main match of the UPL matchday 19 ended with Shakhtar's victory. Your analysis: how difficult was it and how did the game feel out there on the pitch?
– It was the main match of the round indeed. Probably, it was because we were getting ready for a good, combative game. This mood was visible from the first minute, and we played to win from the first to the last minute and showed, I think, a very worthy play. We must improve it, so we will train to finish even better.

– We can say that all the key events took place around you. How do you rate your own actions on the field?
– I don't particularly assess myself. There are people – experts, coaching staff – who will evaluate us. They will have theoretical analysis and tell me what was good and what was bad ether personally or at the team meeting, I don't really like to rate my own play.

– And yet, let's analyse some points in more detail. Your delivery to Konoplia in the 9th minute was very elegant. Did you feel that Yukhym would be able to convert your intention? He said that it is a tried and tested scheme.
– Yes, it is. We have a coach who is responsible for the set play – hello to our coach Roel. It is his blank and we practiced it. It's very good that we started implementing it in the game. I hope it will be even better in the next matches.

– Let's recall your first goal scored in the 22nd minute. Can you describe it?
– They committed a foul on Zubkov there, and I saw that somehow Kryvbas were unfocused, I saw Bondarenko alone and decided to move. The referee didn't reply, I played quickly, and it turned out that a goal was scored.

– But you scored a brace, so let's talk about the second goal as well. We can say that you are Man of the Match.
– Man of the Match is the whole team and the head coach who prepared us very well for the game. Probably, he can be called Man of the Match. As for the second goal, Oleksandr Zubkov acted very well here: we were a little bit under pressure, and he cut off all the opponents’ pressing with one pass, and it so happened that we were two-on-one against the defender, at first I wanted to pass left to Bondarenko, but the defender backed to his own goal, so I decided to handled it and send a right-footer, scoring a goal.

– What can you say about the episode with the opponents’ red card? Did this sending-off give your team any advantages?
– I don't know, I received the ball and my foot was stepped on from behind – there were corresponding traces. They sent off our players at the beginning of the championship for not even such fouls, when Artem Bondarenko suffered and there were other red cards, therefore, I believe, if they were given back then, it was a 100% red card this time.

– Was it easier to play when Kryvbas were left with ten men?
– Well, of course, when the opponents have less players, it's a little easier.
