Shakhtar played against Dnipro-1 in the match of the 29th round of the UPL
The Miners approached this game as champions and winners of the Ukrainian Cup, and that is why head coach of Shakhtar Marino Pusic applied extensive squad rotation. Today, 20-year-old goalkeeper Denys Tvardovskyi made his debut for Shakhtar’s main team, Gocholeishvili, Bondar, Miroshi and Pedrinho played in the defence from the first minutes, Stepanenko, Nazaryna, Marlon Gomes acted in the middle of the field, Shved and Newertton played on the attacking wings, and Sikan had a central forward position.
