FC Shakhtar initiated joint training session of Ukrainian amputee football teams
On Saturday, May 25, a joint training session of Ukrainian football teams for amputees took place at Shakhtar’s training base in Sviatoshyn. Shakhtar Stalevi were visited by Pokrova Lviv AMP players and members of the team that trains with the support of the UAF.
The players of Ukraine amputee team, who are going to France next week to participate in the European Championship, were also present. Yaroslav Poliezhaiev will represent Shakhtar Stalevi in the national team.

I also want the level of development of amputee football in Ukraine to be at the level of European countries, where this sport is quite popular.

It is necessary to promote amputee football in Ukraine, encourage more clubs to build teams. We hope that the championship will be created here in the future. This will have a very positive effect on the players, because they will get not only training experience, but also the competitive one. Our players had a great desire to hold a friendly match. Previously, there were only small-sided games, and this time guests from other teams visited us, and this meeting was very useful to the players. The footballers demonstrated that, despite all the difficulties, you need to move forward.
