Forward of Shakhtar U19 and author of the hat-trick Anton Demchenko shared his impressions of the match against Chornomorets U19
– Anton, congratulations on the victory and the first hat-trick in the Youth League. What does it mean to you?
– Thank you! It means a lot, because I had high expectations for the season and thought I would be able score much more. But it is still nice to score at the end of the season, when the team has very important games. I am grateful to the teammates, because my performance is, first of all, the result of the work of the entire team. I am also very grateful for the passes after which I scored. It will probably make me feel confident before the important matches against Dynamo U19, Dnipro-1 U19 and Polissia U19.
– Are you goals the result of practice during training sessions?
– Of course! All scored goals are the result of the training process. We succeeded in everything we worked on before the matches against Chornomorets U19, we performed the tasks of the head coach. If we continue to play like this, we will have a chance of success.
– The important part of the season is ahead. What are your expectations for the final games?
– There are really three finals and the toughest matches ahead. We have to approach them in the best shape, be collected and focused only on the victory, because there is no way back anymore and we cannot make mistakes. If we win all matches, we will become champions and go on vacation with good emotions and mood.
