Press conference of head coach of Shakhtar Marino Pusic after the game against Chornomorets (3-0)
– My comment about today’s match is that we played almost excellent game in all segments of football. I am very happy with our performance – with our concentration, execution of the tactical plan. And I think all footballers played very well, I am very satisfied with that. As I also told my players, the only thing I can complain about, but I do not, is that we should score more goals. But OK, you cannot always finish all attacks with goals. We were active, and I am very happy with this game.
– You played three games against Chornomorets during the month. Were they different or similar?
– In many things they were similar. Maybe the second one was a little bit different, because Chornomorets more defensively. But in other games there were a lot of one-on-one moments, they really try to play like that. If you give them space to play, they are able to outplay you in some moments. So, I would also like to compliment Chornomorets: despite this result, today they showed that they want to play and try to play. But we did very well, and because of that it is not easy to play against us. It is an interesting experience to play three games in one month against the same opponent, because you always try to find some new details, how to outplay some moments, to find new gaps, new space. I was enjoying that.
– It was like NBA or NHL series.
– Yes, exactly.
