Shakhtar 2-0 Ladomyr

There were the following changes in the starting eleven of the Orange-and-Blacks compared to the previous encounter: Chendei appeared in the midfield instead of Yanieva, with Zavidova playing as a right winger instead of Vykaliuk.

Molodiuk’s goal

The opening minutes of the encounter were spent toe-to-toe and remembered for a dangerous wing pass by Hiryn to the goal area for Konovalova to finish, but Sofiia failed to score. Shakhtar responded with high pressing and a powerful shot by Zaborovets from outside the penalty area – high. A few minutes later, Molodiuk had a great opportunity to score when she moved from the flank to the penalty area after playing one-two with Chendei and hit the goalkeeper. The Miners gradually seized the initiative, controlled the ball more in the Ladomyr’s half of the field and opened the score in the 28th minute: Chendei passed to Molodiuk who got away from the opponents and converted the one-on-one situation, making it 1-0. Then the game moved to mutual struggle in the midfield with a slight advantage of the Miners. Novikova's goal were especially threatened by actions from Molodiuk who constantly pressed and used through balls, but the advantage was not doubled before the break.

Shakhtar’s successful combination play

The second half began with Shakhtar's chance: Chendei slitted it to Molodiuk who got to the operational space and produced a strong shot – Novikova turned the ball for a corner. Ladomyr immediately responded with Korotchuk’s attempt – Klimova was reliable. The visitors looked more ambitious, trying to equalize as soon as possible. Thus, in the 57th minute, the unmarked Hiryn shot from outside the penalty area just few centimetres from the post Two minutes later, after a diagonal pass from Ihnatenko, Korotchuk made a close-range attempt – Klimova blocked it. Subsequently, the Miners moved away from their own goal and orchestrated a quick attack down the right flank: Zaborovets brough Molodiuk one-on-one with the goalkeeper through a piercing pass, but Yelyzaveta failed to convert the opportunity. In the 72nd minute, Shakhtar's coaching staff made a substitution, strengthening the midfield line: Yanieva appeared instead of Maslovska. The Orange-and-Blacks doubled the advantage in the next attack: Chendei made a diagonal pass to Molodiuk in the penalty area, with the latter handling the ball and giving it to Starukhina to finish – 2-0. Shakhtar continued to press and after an interception in the central part of the field in the 88th minute, Starukhina brought Molodiuk one-on-one with a pass, but the goalkeeper quickly approached the attacker and stop the threat in front of the goal. The final minutes saw a leisurely pace under control of the Donetsk team.
