The Olympic champion will represent the club and become an ambassador of the Shakhtar Social foundation
FC Shakhtar signed a cooperation agreement with the famous Ukrainian gymnast, Olympic champion Oleh Verniaiev. The club will support the athlete during international and national competitions.
The club will provide organizational and informational support to the athlete in his preparation for the Paris 2024 Olympics and other tournaments within the scope of cooperation. In turn, Oleh Verniaiev, who is a long-time and one of the most famous fans of the Pitmen, will represent Shakhtar at sports competitions in Ukraine and will be the ambassador of the Shakhtar Social charity foundation.

– Shakhtar has long been not only a football club, but also a community of people with common values and interests, a community of winners. Oleh Verniaiev was born and grew up in Donetsk, he is our true fan, and Shakhtar has been rooting for Oleh for a long time. He is a champion both in the gym and in life. This is our first project where we collaborate with an athlete from another sport. I hope it will be an interesting interaction for Shakhtar, for Oleh and for our fans.
