The Miners are preparing for the first home match of the European season
On October 1, before the UEFA Champions League league phase game against Atalanta, Shakhtar players held a training session on the field of Arena AufSchalke in Gelsenkirchen, where the Orange-and-Blacks will host their opponents in the European Cup.
According to the UEFA regulations, the first 15 minutes of the session were available for the media representatives, therefore, they observed the team’s warm-up and some playing exercises. After that, Marino Pusic's players trained behind closed doors for about an hour: they played a series of games between three teams and also practised attacking actions and shots on goal.
As a reminder, the UEFA Champions League league phase MD 2 game between Shakhtar and Atalanta will take place at Arena AufSchalke on Wednesday, October 2. It kicks off at 19:45 Kyiv time.
