On October 22, FC Shakhtar CEO Serhii Palkin celebrates his 50th anniversary
Serhii Palkin joined Shakhtar in 2003 and has been leading the club as CEO for over two decades. During this time, the Miners won 33 trophies (14 Ukrainian Premier League titles, 9 Ukrainian Cups and 9 Ukrainian Super Cups, became the UEFA Cup holders) and are the most successful Ukrainian club in the 21st century. In addition, every year Shakhtar represents Ukraine in the most prestigious club tournaments in Europe.
Shakhtar is known and respected all over the world today. Books and films have been written about the resilience of the Donetsk club, which was forced to leave its hometown 10 years ago, lost its home stadium and base, but continues to maintain the highest standards in the organization of its work and results. Serhii Palkin has repeatedly emphasized that the priority for the club is to support Ukraine and Ukrainians in our shared struggle, bringing us closer to victory during these challenging times for the country.
The big and friendly family of FC Shakhtar congratulates the club's CEO on his anniversary!
