The Miners will begin the European season in Italy
On September 16, Shakhtar players conducted a morning training session in Lviv, and in the afternoon they crossed the Ukrainian-Polish border by bus and arrived in Rzeszow, catching there a flight to Italy. Shakhtar delegation landed at the Bologna airport at around 19:00 local time.
Head coach of the Orange-and-Blacks Marino Pusic took 28 footballers for the match against Bologna.

As a reminder, the UEFA Champions League league phase MD 1 match between Bologna and Shakhtar will take place on September 18 at the Renato Dall'Ara stadium. The game kicks off at 19:45 Kyiv time.
Shakhtar U19 will play their UEFA Youth League against Bologna U19 on Wednesday at 13:00.
