We need time

– We prepare for any opponent accordingly, and Vorskla Poltava is no exception. This is the current champion of Ukraine, a team with high motivation and a squad formed by highly qualified performers. We need time to catch up to the level that Vorskla demonstrate today. The only thing we have not managed to do so far is to make decisions quickly and effectively under the pressure of opponents who act in an organised manner. Some players have the necessary skills to calmly get out of the pressure, while others are still worried, which causes unnecessary loss of the ball. Vorskla know how to react instantly to such mistakes – after the opponent loses the ball, the team very quickly organise counterattacks, having the performers of the appropriate level who are perfectly versed in this component of the game. As for the fact that we became the first team to score against Vorskla this season, I can say that they will definitely remember and respect us. Because we were the first team to break Vorskla’s two-year unbeaten streak last season.
