Shakhtar and Shakhtar Social provided children with professional footballs

As part of the implementation of the 4R policy (Reducing, Reusing, Recycling, Recovering) aimed at the efficient use of resources, FC Shakhtar, together with the Shakhtar Social charity foundation, donated 300 professional PUMA footballs to children. These balls were previously used by the first team and the Shakhtar Academy players during training sessions and competitions.

Sports gear, particularly footballs, is usually replaced each season and, if necessary, during the season. The items, which have maintained their quality and are suitable for further use, are directed towards supporting the development of children's and youth football in Ukraine.

Thanks to adherence to the principles of sustainable development, the balls were distributed to 10 children's sports schools and educational institutions in the Cherkasy, Rivne, Ternopil, Dnipropetrovsk, Vinnytsia, Odesa and Sumy regions.
