Shakhtar footballers are preparing for the game against Metalist 1925
The women's team have begun their preparations for the match against Metalist 1925 scheduled for this Wednesday.
On Sunday, April 27, the Miners held a recovery training session at the Academy in Shchaslyve. It began with a traditional light warm-up, after which the girls performed a series of passing exercises focused on the accuracy and speed of their passes. Finally, the footballers played squares, and then held a small-sided game within a limited part of the pitch.
Diana Kravchuk, defender:
– After the game against Kolos, we held a recovery training session, during which we performed a light warm-up, played squares and generally worked more on passing.
– How did the draw against Kolos, contenders for the gold medals in the Vyshcha League, affect the team’s mood and condition?
– The team are in a truly fighting mood. After the draw with Kolos, we felt more confident in our actions. I hope this will help us achieve a positive result in the upcoming, no less difficult matches.
– You will play against Metalist 1925 in the next round. What can you say about your future opponents?
– Metalist 1925 squad is mainly formed by experienced performers, many of whom are often called up to the Ukraine national team. Obviously, the team have very fast attackers and, to some extent, achieve results thanks to the experience of their players.
