Shakhtar midfielder Yehor Nazaryna held an online conference with the Come On, Let's Play! project participants in Berezanka (Mykolaiv Oblast)
Shakhtar Social and the general partner of the Come On, Let’s Play! project DTEK organized an online meeting between Shakhtar midfielder Yehor Nazaryna and young footballers who train on the pitch in Berezanka (Mykolaiv Oblast). 20 Shakhtar fans took part in the meeting. Everyone had the opportunity to ask the first-team player their questions.
The children were interested in the daily routine of a professional footballer, the atmosphere in the team, as well as the most memorable matches in Yehor’s career. The player thanked the fans for their support and wished them the fulfilment of their dreams.
Yehor Nazaryna, midfielder:
– I really liked the event, everything had a positive, good vibe! It was nice to chat, I think it is very important to keep in touch with children, because I remember myself as a child and how I dreamed of chatting with a professional footballer. I think they also liked this event.
– Which question from the children did you like the most and what was it?
– The most memorable one was when they asked if I like shawarma. It is noticeable that the children prepared well for the event, it is very pleasant to talk to them and answer their questions.
– Yehor, Shakhtar found out their opponents in the Ukrainian Cup semi-finals, Polissia Zhytomyr, during the event . Share your thoughts and expectations for the upcoming match.
– First, I want to emphasize that the semi-finals are ahead and there are no easy opponents at this stage. Secondly, we will face Polissia and our matches against them are always intense and interesting. The Ukrainian Cup is an important tournament, we are one step away from the final. Last season we won it, so we want to defend the title. We set the highest goals for ourselves
In total, more than 1,000 children are training in the Come on, Let’s Play! project. Sessions are held in 22 locations across Ukraine where 22 pitches operate.
The general partner of the project is DTEK.
