The Miners will play their home European game in Poland in two days
On Tuesday, August 12, Shakhtar’s players continued their preparations for the UEFA Europa League third qualifying round return leg against Panathinaikos. In the morning, Arda Turan’s side held a theoretical session reviewing their own recent performances, as well as analysing the upcoming opponents’ play. Afterwards, the Miners travelled by bus from Lviv, crossed the Ukrainian-Polish border and arrived in Krakow at around 17:15 local time.
Tomorrow, the Orange-and-Blacks will have their traditional media events: a pre-match press conference featuring the head coach and a player, as well as an open training session.
We remind that the return leg of the UEFA Europa League third qualifying round between Shakhtar and Panathinaikos will take place at the Stadion Miejski im. Henryka Reymana in Kraków on Thursday, August 14. The clash kicks off at 21:00 Kyiv time (20:00 CET). Tickets for the game in are on sale.
