A football club in Nemishaieve received equipment within the Shakhtar Social and UEFA Foundation for Children project supporting children’s football
Shakhtar players Sofiia Lutsan and Diana Kravchuk visited Nemishaieve (Kyiv Oblast) where they gave sports equipment (balls, bibs, goal nets, coordination ladders, etc.) to the local football club Nemesh as part of the Shakhtar Social and UEFA Foundation for Children project supporting children’s football in Ukraine.
During the visit, Shakhtar players performed various coordination and warm-up exercises and also played football together with the kids. The children had the opportunity to receive practical advice from professional athletes.

Supporting children truly strengthens our future

– We are very glad that Shakhtar Social is involved in such initiatives, as supporting children truly strengthens our future. We managed to hand over sports equipment to the local club together with the foundation. We hope the children will be able to engage actively in sports, develop their skills and distract themselves from the events happening around them.
The visit took place within the Shakhtar Social and UEFA Foundation for Children project, which provides sports equipment to 30 football schools and sections across Ukraine. Thanks to the initiative, more than 1,800 children will be able to develop their physical abilities and do what they love – play football.
