Shakhtar youth team will play against Karpaty U19 in the rescheduled National League U19 match in Lviv

Shakhtar U19 started the new season with a win over Epicentr U19 (2-1) where the team’s newcomer Kanteh scored a brace. After the first round, the Miners travelled to Croatia to take part in the Mladen Ramljak 2025 tournament, during which they played against leading European academies: Benfica (0-2), PSG (4-0), Bologna (0-1) and Juventus (2-3). After returning to Ukraine, the Orange-and-Blacks had little time to prepare for the next league match, yet secured a convincing victory over their Veres Rivne counterparts (5-1).

Karpaty U19 finished last season as bronze medallists, earning 62 points (18 wins, 8 draws and 4 losses, goal difference: 72-28). They prepared for the new season in Lviv under the guidance of Oleh Holodiuk, playing 4 friendly matches during the training camp: a draw with Sambir-Nyva-2 (1-1) and defeats to Kulykiv-Bilka (0-3), Skala 1911 (2-5) and Prykarpattia-Blaho (0-3).
In the U19 National League, the Green-and-Whites started with a narrow loss to Polissia Zhytomyr U19 (0-1) and claimed victory over Kolos Kovalivka U19 (2-0) in round 3. During the break caused by the rescheduling of the round 2 match, Karpaty U19 played a friendly against FC Olesko (6-3).
