Children from Mykolaiv Oblast attended a sports camp in Prague

Participants of the Come On, Let’s Play! project, implemented with the support of Shakhtar Social and general partner DTEK, visited a football camp in Prague organised by Sparta Praha
25 children from Berezanka and Kobleve in Mykolaiv Oblast attended the camp in Prague for 10 days. They trained under the guidance of professional coaches from Sparta Praha and representatives of the Shakhtar Social foundation. The trip was made possible thanks to the ongoing partnership between AC Sparta Praha and the Shakhtar Social, which for the third year in a row has been supporting children living in war conditions or affected by its consequences. The initiative was also joined by the Ukraine Children’s Action Project (UCAP).
A rich programme was prepared for the children: football training sessions, a meeting with Sparta’s youth team, guided tours of Prague’s historic and cultural landmarks and a visit to a first-team match.
The football camp became not only a sporting challenge for the children, but also a unique opportunity to gain new experiences, take their minds off the war and make new friends.
